iPhoneography

Mobile phones have for some time now included reasonably advanced and competent digital cameras. In that respect the iPhone is no different. Indeed in many ways its camera function is, if anything, less advanced than in its rivals. Yet the iPhone has proven to be a game changer in every way...

Maybe it's the plethora of available Apps for editing, effects etc., although it is all too easy to rely on effects to jazz up otherwise really very ordinary images. The iPhone camera, compared to a DSLR for example, is quite limited but once one has learned to take into account these limitations and use it for what it is, an ever available no-brainer image maker, then the possibilities can be seeming endless.

So much so that it seems a whole new genre of photography has been invented... iPhoneography.
